Guest guest
WAP>> Hi, just wanted to say that I agree 100% with . Getting off on WAP>> political arguements and one on one debates - debating a topic to WAP>> death is a waste of my reading time and is putting so many posts in WAP>> my box that I'm continually in danger of going over space. Everyday WAP>> I have to run through topics and delete most of them without reading WAP>> them due to arguing topics that don't have much to do with Native WAP>> Nutrition. I don't want to not receive posts because when the WAP>> sharing is good I learn so much from others experiences. Can this be WAP>> remedied? WAP>> Anita i'm sure it *can* be changed, but i don't see it as something that needs " remedying " nor would i want it to be " remedied " . i'm in the camp of " leave it as it is " - it's been this way for the two years that i've been on this list and i might not be here if it wasn't. there was a brief period when most list activity was recipe sharing, and that bored the bejeezuz out of me. we've become sort of a community who is interested in discussing/sharing/debating views and info on many subjects, some tangentially related to nutrition and some not. at least many of us vocal ones are like that, imo. nutrition IS political, and that leads to so many more related subjects. personally - i'm learning a lot about many issues on this list from people who share a common interest in nutrition and by extension, related issues, and i'm grateful for that. it is the most intelligent, thought-provoking, humorous, silly, intense, irritating, knowledgeable, eccentric and passionate group of people on any email list that i've been on. really - what more could you ask for? <bg> and the posting etiquette thread serves a role, imo, because of the sheer volume this list generates. and hey, personally i learned a neat trick from it. <weg> although i'll miss my arrows. but at least my posts will be easier to follow from now on. i do understand the lament from people who want to limit the discussion to nutrition issues and i honestly sympathize, but want to point out that that view is not shared by all. i know i'm not the only one who wants it to stay the way it is.
