That's amazing results after only 1 cast! Congrats! To be honest with you - I never really had diapering issues. I know a lot of mom's on this group have though : ) Go to infantilescoliosis.org and click on " resources. " About halfway down the page there is a pdf regarding diapering tips. That should help a bunch. As far as the balance issues go...I would just keep in eye on things and see if they resolve over the next couple of weeks. I remember Noah tipping over when he'd try to sit. I don't remember walking being a problem though. I do remember always being very careful up and down stairs. Their balance is thrown off quite a bit because once in the cast they become very " top heavy. " I'm glad the car ride went well. The trips become easier and easier after awhile.
