Guest guest
Yes in you can still have become pregnant after you have taken methotrexate, although some women do become sterile after taking mtx. She shouldnt get pregnant while she is taking mtx and she should wait at least 1 month and preferbly 3 months after stopping mtx before becoming pregnant. But if you are asking does mtx make her infertile, then the answer is that infertility is a possiblilty after taking high doses of mtx with high doses being 150-400mg doses for chemo, where we take 7.5 to 50mg max, so the chances for RA patients is less likely than for chemo patients. Guest guest
, yes pregnancy can bring on a flare during the pregnancy or after giving birth, or sometimes pregnancy can induce a remission. Most RA patients go into remission during pregnancy then have a major flare after delivery. For lupus patients pregnancy usually induces a serious flare, for us with SD we are somewhat in the middle, some flare and some remit. There is just not enough published info about SD and pregnancy.
