Chelation: DAN! or Andy Cutler protocol??

Reading the posts over past few days, I too am REALLY confused about which protocol to follow. I've read so many posts on Andy's website about what to do and then I spoke with my DAN! doc in NZ who recommended the DAN! approach (as supported by Ken Bock, O'Hara, Liz Mumper) and now I'm thinking 'who is right here????' How can these chelation methods be so different if everyone is supposedly united in the goal of trying to recover these children??? So how many kids have been recovered using Andy's Vs DAN? And how many families on this list have experienced recovery or major major improvements with DAN chelation protocol or Andy's?

I know the DAN! doctors so I find that persuasive and DAN has worked for us so far over the past two years but Andy sounds so knowledgeable and his responses are thorough, and Dr Amy - and if you think it's great Mandi, surely it must be! Your posts are so informative I'd love to know what you think about this division? So why do the DAN docs recommend a totally different way if doing it 3 days on, 11 days off only spreads mercury and makes kids sicker???!! Huh??? I did ask my DAN doc and she said Andy's way isn't tested and she can't recommend it, she can only recommend what she knows, what improvements / benefits / recovery she's seen with her patients and what her other DAN colleagues have experienced with theirs.....

I'm stumped, scared and sure would love some clarification!

Simone
