Hi and thanks for the information, and you can jump into any message

anytime you want. She says it's not painful, but then again she might be lying

to me also, so I don't worry, but I will have her get check on her next Dr.

appointment which is next tuesday.

Have a great day

Kurt

Kurt, have her checked for celiacs sprue disease. If they wont do it, go to

another doctor. If it comes back negative, ask for a small intestine biopsy.

Ardis as you probably know by now was my kindred spirit and best friend for 9

years before she died from alcoholic liver disease. One of the serious

complications she developed is called Celiac disease. It is a rare allergy to

wheat, rye, oats, and barley. The gluten in these grains is the culprit. Ardis

was misdiagnosed by 1/2 quacks as well as full ones, 10 in all at the public

hospital out here in Denver. They dropped her so hard through the cracks, she

never stopped falling. They thought she had psoriasis. Celiac disease causes a

severe rash under the arms, breasts, ,you name it, she got it every where. It

started out as a small rash under her arms, and it spread to every where, and

started to get on her eye lids. She lived in a camper in my back yard, and I had

been feeding her for months, and had

removed all the gluten from her diet. Back when she could walk, she wasn't real

strict, but my then she was bedridden, and I was in charge, and tried to get her

gluten free. I realized it was still in her diet in a significant amount from

the beer she was drinking. I changed that by getting her gluten free beer. The

rash disappeared until a nice nurse at the hospital gave her lasagna, and

English muffins. Her encephalopathy was so bad, she didn't know any better, and

I had top rip them a new you know what. This happened over and over and over. I

believe that the celiac killed her more than the cirrhosis. Every time they gave

her wheat, all of her villi would slough off , and she couldnt get any nutrition

for 20 days until they grew back.. Villi are tiny hair like structures in the

small intestine. Unfortunataly about every 20 days some one screwed up up untill

her death. Good luck. Bobby aka RWE

Rashes

My wife has been getting rashes on her body, really bad like

underneath her arms, and then like red stripes on her ankles and legs.

She says it usually happens when she doesn't take her lactlouse like

she is suppose to. Is this a common? The rash under her arms looks

like a bad case of diaper rash,(close thing I could compare it to)
