Good evening Jung-fire friends,

I've been waiting somewhat patiently for a few responces to some topical

tosses of late before I have to announce my departure from the group. This

Celestial Chess Knight's Tour around the 64sqs. is finished as I write this

last post. Kinda hate to leave with a few intriguing thoughts left untied

yet, but you can't make Time stand still for long. This pyr-ating adventure

has grown cold as well, and I've got my eye on another yet to come somewhere

else for a while during the remainder of this year and the coming new one

ahead.

I did manage to recover most of my old gems of wisdom from those Pearl Diving

episodes I have written off and on this year which I dedicated to Mette,

shortly after she departed and has now returned again. So this is the last

episode of that story as well. I managed to find most of them like I said,

except for the one I treasured the most, which wasn't ever lost at all, but

was exchanged in a truce behind Walt Disney studios years ago now during

another tale with that Zen Koan master that Shadowcatcher mentioned just

today as well by the name of Alan Watts. (How's he always doing that?)

Of course that story episode was in responce to a line of topics that started

with our old friend Kurt who pops in now and again concerning the author

Clemens, or Mark Twain. Right Kurtleberry? That reminds me, my old

girlfriend Becky called me yesterday to tell me all about her recent trip to

London. She's remarried and expecting her second child this December. I

almost married that young lady, but sort of got more entangled with this

group and its interests instead, so Thanks a lot for that escape hatch.

I've also been reading a rather interesting book lately called " Fermat's

Enigma " , by Simon Singh. This is a facet-nating account of a so called

amateur mathematician named Pierre De Fermat born in 1601, who later posed a

problem to the world around 1637 concerning a variation of Pythagoras' old

theorem, x2 + y2 = z2. Only his former conundrum was " Prove there are no

additional powers greater than 2 that have a whole integer solution to this

equation. He claimed to have such a logical proof but never revealed it to

anyone. This challenge thence brought forth some of the greatest minds of

the Western hemisphere for the next 360 years or so, to solve this enigma and

even a rather large sum of money was to be awarded to the winner at one point

in the quest. But it remained unresolved fully until very recently and was

finally proven to the math world's satisfaction by a very shy and reclusive

number savant by the name of Wiles originally from Cambridge UK. and

later Princeton USA. The only problem with his solution is that it required

the most advanced state of the art math tools currently available in this day

and age to do it. I find that somewhat staggering to my mind, considering all

of the advances the world has made in the centuries following that original

enigma's debut. Atomic energy and structure, the DNA code, and now its

followup the Human Genone Project, Space Travel, etc.

But what I have found in this book that surprised me the most so far, is

Fermat's portrait which I have a rather unusual feeling about, sort of like

it belongs to another old friend of mine I haven't mentioned before to this

group, who first got me started on the geomancer's path as well, over 26 yrs

ago. Does another simpler logical proof exist to solve this enigma, without

the use of space age technological tools to crack it? And if so, what could

it entail?. I've gotten a rather deep insight lately, that this enigma should

be renamed, " Ferment's Theorem " instead. Another surprise I discovered, was

that Fermat had a son named,,now get this, Clement- as well, who saved

the majority of his father's works for posterity to ponder. A lot of minds

have been honed to a very sharp level intellect on that enigmatic

" Whet-stone " of sorts, throughout the centuries. I kind of like to imagine

that is what has been done here at Jung-Fire as well concerning another stone

we used to focus on. And perhaps not only our minds, but some other

E-Motivational bodily functions as well. Which reminds me Mike Dickman,

forget about that old Zen Koan about how to get a Goose out of a bottle

without doing any harm to it or the bottle and help me figure out how to get

it in there to begin with, will ya? Don't want any unnatural odors escaping

" Down on the Farm " as Little Feat used to sing, or " Animal Farm " as

Orwell wrote about, or even that one from the state of " Denmark " for that

matter. LOL! Bout time to put the Cork on that bottle and let it sit for a

while.

Looks like nobody had a match for ol Uncle Leroy as well around here, so I

took the liberty of using that one I got on All Hallow's Eve to help him out.

Maybe some will recall the incident concerning those duplicate apt. and

house numbers of a new musician aquaintance of mine and my son. Well after

all I did sign on as geomancer and cook, so the number is 413 in this case.

This is a diameter number for a circle of 1296, plus a small fraction

remainder. Now if you go back to this date in time last year in the

Archives, you will note some of the words and phrases that I wrote about

pertaining to that number such as " Pneuma-Nous " or Spirit/Mind,

" Parthenos-Sophia " or Virgin Wisdom, and " Via, Aletheia, Zoes " , or Way,Truth,

Life. And to which I also added, " To Pyr Lithos " , The Fire Stone, and the

Cube of 6 faces, to go with the two spherical Vaults or hemisperes of the

Great Year of appx. 12960 yrs. So don't go slipping on that Snail slime

residue remainder of that equation OK?

So now I guess its time to see what ol Uncle Leroy has in mind for that

matched pair of numbers. (Click!) Uh oh,,looks like he just opened up the

" Powder Room " ,,Hey pha, would you like to freshen up your Make-Up a

little? or the rest of you Jung-Fire ladies as well? Of course Ol Leroy is

going to be loading up on another kind of powder stored in that room of the

ship if'n you know what I mean, so don't go messin with him if ya happen to

see him in there with you. And I've got another feeling I know what's coming

up next, so like I said before, that Jung-Pyr ship has served us well over

the last year but if you all happen to smell smoke around here you might want

to break out the Life rafts. He could never light his pipe with just a

little match like that, so I guess he'll just have to find the most perfect

sized glowing coal in the embers of this ship or ours to light it with. Just

as well, I could have sworn I heard some rather eager beavers around here

gnawing away on that old mainsail mast again, hangin onto that big sheet with

the spot on it. Look out below if it comes down on anyone on deck unless you

all want to end up under that sheet with Mr. Grace, Gene Baker. LOL! Now

that would be another of those Kodak moments but I think I'll pass on that

one. I wonder what those beavers have in mind " Damming? " How about using

that sheet as a Truce flag like those Arabs and Israelis are trying to do now

as well. Something good must have come out of that Re-treat called Kanuga

mentioned by and Gene lately as well. Now I will be sticking around

for you fine folks to get off a few parting shots as well now. Aim off the

Port Bow, but don't hit the Anchor line!

That's a wrap up for me as well here. But before I forget,, did anyone here

recently receive a letter from the International Biographical Center in

Cambridge, UK? I got one about a month ago but didn't think much about it at

the time until recently today, someone posted that passage about Cinderella's

Pumpkin Ball deadline of Oct. 31, which happened to be the deadline for

filling out the entry form for their publication, " Outstanding People of the

20th. Century " year 2000 ed. This center works on some sort of referral or

research process of which little information is given in the form, but it

looks pretty impressive with its crest seal of King's College on it. Very

interesting place in some of my research as well. I believe Mike recently

mentioned a book called, " Mysteries of King's College " , by Nigel Pennick.

Now I called him up almost a year ago come next week, on 11/11/99 at 11:11pm.

Eastern standard time last year just to introduce myself and ask him " What's

NU? " ,after finding that Greek letter missing from his other book I had just

finished reading called. " Secret Games of the Gods. " I don't think he

really appreciated that remark much. so I guess I'll just have to give him

another call next week on 11/11/00 at 11:11pm. to ask him " What's Old? " LOL!

The mystery of which I have some small inkling about concerns among other

things, the astrological auspices of its founding being somewhat unfavorable

at the time, and its construction was interupted repeatedly by that other

" War of the Roses " that lasted about 30 yrs. or so. Anyhow,, I just thought

I'd mention this in case I do decide to fill out that entry form late anyhow,

as there is a section of eight spaces given on it for anyone else who would

like to be mentioned in it, in the next coming New Millennium volume of 2001.

You can get in touch with me privately on that one if you like. Maybe if we

act real quick on this one, we can get scribbled in the margins or something.

LOL! And of course, if anyone wishes to continue corresponding with me

personally I will be more than happy to continue my adventures with them as

well. For starters, I've been meaning to wander over to that other egroup

list called the " World Chess Team " that formed right after the historic Chess

match between the reigning champion for many years now, Kasparov. Those

folks as feeling a bit sullen after sharing in that defeat and could probably

use some cheering up now as well. Of course this new adventure has another

name as well, because this place is so thick with Trees, you can't even see

the Forest sometimes. And some of those trees are real ancient ones as well,

such as the Yews, and others. Now Trees are another term used in Chess

terminology to plot out movement sequences and variations of playing this

still sometimes overwhelming game. You can definitely get lost in those

woods if you don't know your way around them. Kinda reminds me of another

forest where I recently saw a dead deer lying beside the road just rotting

away on one of my rounds. That made me Sick! So if your interested in

hearing more about it, just say,,, " Sher-Wood! "

I'm going to miss you all immensely in the coming days ahead, and will try to

love the rest of you as well as I can also. So how about I roll on out of

here with just one last bit of melody, some of you will find familiar.

" And you can send me dead flowers every morning,,

Send me dead flowers by the USMail,,

Send me dead flowers to my " Wedding? " ,,

And I won't forget to put Roses on your Grave. "

Mick says he felt like a hillbilly on that one for a minute,,just a minute.

Rolling Stones, from the album " Stripped " How's that Toni?
