Guest guest
I forgot to answer 's question about how long it takes to go through the process and get a transplant. This lady is my friend , her name is Aimee. Miracle Aimee, as her husband and family are calling her. She nearly died last fall from fulminant heptic failure from unknown causes. She is a mother of two and her story is here. http://daant.blogspot.com/ I tracked back in her blog and she was diagnosed with Cirrhosis, end stage liver disease with decompensation on July 29th 2007, and went into complete liver failure and was transplanted on October 19. 2007. She was very sick through the summer, and was eventually flown by an airforce hospital plane from Pearl Harbor to Lackland AFB in San ,TX and got a liver there. Actually it looks like they got the liver in at 1:43 am, so I believe that her transplant birthday is actually October 20, 2007, but I'll have to ask Aimee. Hers is a compelling story to read, and she is quite a character. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
