Guest guest
I'm nor Mac, but I use AVG Free Edition. IN addition I have a couple of anti Spyware programs (also free) that I run. I use to spend " the big bucks " and got Norton, but like you, I found it to slow my computer down, and I think these free programs are just as good. For Spyware I use SpyBot & AdAware and I also use to program called Threatfire that notifies you if a program is trying to change your registry or your homepage. All of these are free:-) Mac-out of context Mac... was it you that told me you had a virus protection that you did not have to buy but got off the internet. If it was, could you tell me what it was again? I would really appreciate it. We cannot afford those other ones...they surely are getting crazy in price, now. The one seemed to run constantly and slowed our computer down more and was constantly downloading things. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message. Guest guest
I'm not Mac, but if you go to grisoft.com you'll find a free home virus-checker. There's a free one called Ad-Aware at lavasoftusa.com that is good too. I use them both. I've been told by those who supposedly know that it's best to use more than one. I've also been told that the best ones are NOT from the U.S.A. I think both these are from Sweden -- at least one of them is. Vote KUCINICH The only candidate who CAN run on his RECORD!
