Guest guest
'When the past does not serve the future it becomes poison but when it does serve the future it yields infinite treasures, " dane rudhyar this strikes me so powerfully for all who carry burdens fr past pain of childhood, relationships etc. - they can skew the experience of the present. seems we need clearly to accept the pain, claim it, n decide what to do w/it - therein lies free choice. for those who inflict it? i think Buddha wld say, have compassion bec karma will come to teach...or 'judge not, juudgment is mine, saith the lord. one sees so much pain - real pain1 wh the past is carried like a black sack ev day. it helps to realize that injustice falls justly at times in the life of us all. my own eyes were opened at age 3 after which i learned grownups were not infalliblr, i was scolded n punished for something i KNEW i had not done!! by my nanny. i was dumfounded n as u cn see have nev forgotten this n also realize i may have done the same unwittingly to others, as paewnt or teacger. to understand helps to forgive. am typ in dark, hope comp fixed tomorrow lovr ao
Guest guest
<< it helps to realize that injustice falls justly at times in the life of us all. >> there's a really great passage in the book of Caroline Myss, " Why Some People Don't Heal and How They Can. " She describes how the chakras, the Kabbalah and the Sacraments are all aligned. In describing the second chakra, which she describes as the Moon and Yesod (you may agree or not); she describes how to thank everyone who has come into our lives for teaching us whatever we needed to learn at that juncture. Then in forgiving them, we let go of any negativity associated with that event, and pull that energy back to our own chakras to use for our own creative activities. It is very powerful energetically and healing-wise, and interestingly I just read this evening (synchronistically) it is a perfect fit. Myss's first book (she's a medical intuitive) is called, " Anatomy of the Spirit " and I can highly recommend it.
