Oh see I was confused LOL Silly me...see how much importance I put

on tests lol.

Ah well thanks for this input as I will go back to my doctor and tell

her we no longer need to do that test ( the anti-parietal) and we

need to re-do the hashimoto's antibody test..that's the one that will

be decreased..and I need the proof! :-) So. wow, thanks...I need to

may more attention! :-)

To explain a bit further...

As far as auto-immune thyroiditis goes, parietal cell antibodies are

found in most patients with pernicious anemia (vitamin B-12

anemia). Pernicious anemia is often found in Hashi patients.

However, the fact that these antibodies are found with increased

rates in patients with other autoimmune diseases, suggest these

antibodies do not have a part in creating disease by themselves.
