For Madison couple Gunnar fsson and Pam Meuer, the illnesses they have endured due to household mold are made even more difficult by the skepticism they have encountered as they sought help.

"You go from doctor to doctor," Meuer said. "And you're discounted, even made fun of. But the main thing is, you don't get the help you need ... I wanted to get better."
