Guest guest
anyone know which d3 liquid form is best? Jane Hogan wrote: Hi Joy, I am just about to order some supplements for vit k protocol. Am I right in thinking that Biocares EAP2 100mg capsules are okay. Thorne Research vitamin k2 liquid is okay? CLO by Nordic naturals will be okay for the D. I know there are other supplements listed on the protocol - Do you need to start one supp and see how it goes or use several together to get things going? Also, my son is on a whole host of supplements - would I need to stop them initially? Any advice greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Nordic Naturals has an Artic-D clo with 1000 IU per teaspoon, we have always used a tsp of the Artic-D with 2 tsps of the regular NN Artic clo. Guest guest
hi chriso, my knowledge is limited so bare with me the vitamin k2 posts refer to a protocol used by people whose children respond to it , my ds has very bad calcium issues so requires k2 to help transport the calcium as he is k2 deficient although vit d and k2 work together they have different jobs the clo discussed is in connected with the protocol, normally nordic naturals clo is fine we have been using it for a year swapped when we started the protocol, the sunshine and vitd issue is complicated certain cultures are at risk despite high levels of sunshine example afro-carribbean people its to do with skin pigmentation and not asborbing the vit d from the sun probably, i am sure there is more info about vit d in the files i think, most people are deficient i think its about absorbing , i am sure someone more knowledgable will add to what i said soon maybe correct me if i got anything wrong melissaxx
Guest guest
Excuse my ignorance, Vit D has to do with the Sun,[ from what little i remember of school] there fore living in CYprus with lots of Sunshine, would this mean K2 isnt so needed for us. [PS we give Artic CLO orange flavour is that ok.] kind regards Chriso Re: Re: K2 Aileen, > Vicky, Jane, Joy....... > > > > hi not joy, but i know the thorne research k2 liquid is > fine the nordic naturals clo doesn't have as much vit d in > it as the green pastures one so i have just switched to > green pastures bluce ice one > there was a research article about vit a and vit d > ratios in clo circulated on k2 list but have lost it maybe > joy has it? the ratio in nordic naturals is 1:100 where as > the ratio in blue ice is 1:10 which is meant to be better > > melissaxx > >
