U.S. CLEAN FUEL PROGRAMS HAVE HELPED TO CLEAR THE AIR WASHINGTON, DC, January 4, 2008 (ENS) - Toxic emissions from gas-burning motor vehicles have been reduced over the past 12 years due to federal clean fuel programs and reformulated gasoline, a new federal government report shows.
