Guest guest
You're in my prayers Penny, hang in there!!! MaC preciouspenny3 wrote: Thank you all for all your support. I told I you had to go back to the hospital after being home only 2 days. I'm not on the transplant floor now and the nurses aren't so good here. They're slow here and most of them seem to only want to do the bare job and go home. The first night I was here, it took 4 nurses and IV nurses to find a place for an IV. The places kept blowing. Then I got more plasma and platelets. Then the next day I got 3 litres of fluid out of my body. Then they started me on Lactolose. They had to give me two doses and it didn't do anything but give me gas that made miserable. They had to give me gas drops so I wouldn't be so miserable. They said I should be able to go home today, because all my other labs are steady, but they had poop samples tested and it turned out there's blood in it. Today I had an upper endoscopy and they found some large veins so they tied them off with rubber bands. Tomorrow they are doing a colonoscopy. The hepatologist said earlier today that because of all this I've moved to the #1 position on the list for O+ livers, so the next O+ liver that comes in and matches is mine. My husband will update on here when I'm not able to. Penny --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search.
