Guest guest
I joined here about a month and a half ago. My fiance " Chip " is going to have his transplant in September. We found out this week that he has 3 living donors who have the same blood type. The donor they chose will be starting more evaluations. I don't know how long that takes, but they said prepare for the surgery in about 4-6 weeks. How often does a living donor get ruled out during the more extensive testing? Chip is talking about making sure all of his paperwork is done, incase he doesn't make it. I think that's a smart idea. Do you have any suggestions, from your experiences, of what is the best/right way do the paperwork?
