Guest guest Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 I have never seen any consistent difference between translation agencies / translation companies / 'firms' (which are simply a type of company) / associates, in terms of payment integrity. Most are honest, some are not. Some of my best clients are agencies, some are direct clients. Some agencies have had to be chased for months to be paid, sometimes with threats of legal action, ditto some legal firms which were direct clients.
