My Uncle found an effective way eliminating ads before the days of tv

remote control devices. He used a long extension cord from the tv to

his chair and disconnected the power supply when the commercials were

on broadcast between tv programs.

I hate ads too, plus they are always so much louder than your progrsm. I mute mine. Plus, kids can get in all their talking before show resumes. lol Leena

Judy and I TiVo everything we watch. Although, there are a lot of commercials

that we do watch. VW cars have good ones, and Citi-Bank with the identy theft,

" I slept at a Holiday Inn Express " are always good. Right now I am watching one

for PolySeamSeal caulking where the guy puts the dear head in the shower. Hey

its funny. I don't like when the volumn goes way up. (fast forward), or the

same ad over and over (fast forward) or Stupid ads like " Fred " /CDW (fast

forward).

I make an effort to not buy products with loud commercials. Two

products I don't buy for that reason are Maxwell House Coffee and

Crystal Light.
