Guest guest
; I had to stop working about one year ago, and I will tell you that things will be deferent but not hopeless as I found out. Fact is my wife and I have gotten closer it did take the kids some time to adjust but that also happened some what fast .( me a no good house husband) I was told the same thing by my employer with one small change. He told me if I wanted to keep my job I needed to get a doctors note, and go on a medical leave. Depending on how many employees they have, ( I believe it is 15 or more). If you have all ready used the family medical leave act . You need to count up the days you have used, as you are by fed law allowed up to 12 weeks with out pay, and the days can not be held against you! If you have not used it, go on med leave if you can, and when you come back make sure on the first day you sign up for F.M.L.A. Then you have 12 weeks starting when you get back and that is every 12 months ( one year). Also go to your human reassures department, or personal department and have a little talk with them! DO THIS ALL AS OF YESTERDAY as you do not want them to have any time to do any thing. If all fails you can seek the opinion of a employment law layer some even take cases on you win you pay but if you do not then they do not get paid. Do not let them do this, as to day it is you, tomorrow who is next. Right now your rights sound like there being steeped on. I will tell you some supervisors do not know s_ _ t about employment laws so good luck and let us all know what happens ( I have been on both sides of this . as worker and as a boss) wishing you luck and you go girl give them hell for you and all of us.
