Bobbi - one other angle you might want to check into: If your dad is

not working, hasn't worked for quite some time, he may qualify for

assistance from the county/state for at least the pre transplant

medical care/ diagnosis he needs from specialists. Here in Arizona,

our state insurance does pay for transplants. Jan H
