Guest guest
Yes. They have broadband just like us here in the US. Matter of fact they have pretty much everything we have. Even a TGI Fridays, Chili's, Popeyes Chichen etc. But I will most likely eat a lot less Americanized food while I'm there. I love Korean food. Guest guest
Terry and I will be spending Thanksgiving Day quietly at home, which is our tradition, and we enjoy it like that. On Friday, my entire family will be coming, so we will need the quiet we enjoyed on Thursday!!! As for what I'm cooking, just the traditional Thanksgivingn meal, I'm sure. My sisters and I haven't really talked about all that yet. We're procrastinators, or had you already guess that?! The number one thing I'm thankful for is that the Lord has spared Terry to be with us again this Thanksgiving. Also, my family is basically happy and healthy and that's so much more than many people have. I'm thankful for my country and the brave men and women who have fought, and many died, to make and keep us free. I'm thankful for this group and the friends, love and support I have found here. And most of all I'm thankful that, no matter how tough my life gets, I have a friend in Jesus who is always there for me. Love and hugs............ Diane P.S. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! Guest guest
Actually, I won't be able to take Kaitlyn with me. My tour in Korea is dependent restricted. She will stay with her Grandma for the year. I had asked for this assignment under an AF incentive program that allows me to pick my assignment leaving Korea. I wanted to pick a good location to set up homestead to start getting myself ready for retirement from the AF and transition into a civilian job. So it will be tough to be without her that long, but it pays off in the long run. MaC Pamela on wrote: MaC my husband did a tour in Korea back in the mid 80's. He is retired Air Force 24 yrs. Guest guest
I keep her family in Korea up to speed as much as I can. I send back photos or home movies of events like the first day of school, and fun things we do. Kaitlyn has pictures to remind her and still remembers bits and pieces of visits there when she was younger. I also talk on the phone with them about twice a year. Insoon and I met in the city of Daegu. It a little smaller than San Francisco. (I move off to Korea for 12 months.) I probably wont' do much cooking, but I will make enough of a presence in the kitchen to help mess it up! :-) I am thankful for all the wonderful people around me everyday to include everyone here! I am also thankful that my daughter has a wonderful spirit and smile and that she has wonderful friends and teachers that are around her and support her. I'm also thankful gas went down, and for electricity, and the batteries in my remote still work. :-) MaC Pamela on <ohana5mtaonline (DOT) net> wrote: What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving?
