Guest guest
Thanks, I will let everyone know once I get there. I will probably be off line for a couple of weeks why I move but will try to check in as often as I can until I have all my stuff unpacked. Lately, I spend my weekends " un-cluttering " the house in preparation of moving. Thanks for the prayers, Mac What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving? > What are you cooking? > What are you thankful for? > > Love, > Pamela > >

Guest guest
Too Cute!!!! Great idea about flying them out to see where her mom is from, meet family. Sounds like you are a terrific dad!! Pamela Re: OT - Thanksgiving - the lighter side Her and her Grandma have a wonderful relationship, so I know she will have fun. I've been preparing her for several months. I've involved her in the process so to speak, so she doesn't have any anxiety over it. She just want's me to mail back dresses, shoes and toys back every day. I plea-bargained it down to once a month! :-) MaC What is everyone doing for Thanksgiving? > What are you cooking? > What are you thankful for? > > Love, > Pamela > >

Guest guest
I used to love to make Thanksgiving Day dinner with all the trimmings. Even when it was just the two of us. But for the last few years, I haven't had the strength to do it. That turkey can get very heavy. So we have gone out for dinner. Lots of restaurants serve dinner here, some don't even require reservations. However, if my Grandson is not working on Thanksgiving, he will be making the traditional dinner for us. If he does work, guess we will go out again. What am I thankful for? With the number of times in the last couple of years I could have died, life leads the list. And I thank God for it. I am also thankful that I do not feel as sick as some of my medical tests and condition would indicate I should. I believe that God is protecting me from some of the symptoms I could be having, and He is also giving me a serenity I didn't know I could have. (See exception of grandson below <S>) I am also thankful that I am going to be able to contribute to our worship experience next Sunday by playing Great Is Thy Faithfulness in His honor. Of course, I am thankful for my four children and twelve grandchildren, even the grandson who is living with me now, and frequently drives me beyond crazy. <S> Too save space, I am just going to ditto most of the items the rest of you have listed. > Hi, > > When I go back to Florida, I hope to find that mall in Miami......wonder if > Tampa has one like it. Guest guest
Since my meds aren't here for the Hep C treatment yet, I am hoping I can wait until after Thanksgiving to start. Last year at Thanksgiving, I was sooooo ill. I was at my parents, but so sick I couldn't eat, and had to run to the bathroom a lot, and was in pain. This year, I am ready to eat! I hope I can start treatment after Thanksgiving so I can eat like I want to. Everyone will be at my parent's house again. Guest guest
Then, that's just what we'll pray for for you! Hoping it all works out and you can eat to your heart's content (or should I say your stomach?!)!!!! Guest guest
I forgot to mention that my parents will make ham, sweet potatoes and blueberry pie for me if I don't start the treatment before that, and those are my favorite foods. They'll have turkey too, of course, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, and pumpkin and sweet potatoe pies. I am thankful for my donor whose liver saved my life. I am thankful to be alive! Guest guest
Lyncia, I envy you this holiday with your brother. Accept him with open arms! I have been estranged from my brother for over 20 years. And, unfortunately, don't see any reconciliation in the near future either. MaC Lyncia wrote: Wow, I want to have your menu! Enjoy!
