Guest guest
Which site is this Lindsey? I need to read it also, planning to use on me and Sam Sandy is there some reliable site where you can check herb interactions? I have some distant memeory about how some herbs can interact badly. I am already on Neem, Tumeric, Liver Life contains loads, just about to start Bayberry and thinking I better check all this out or I might explode! Also taking SSRI's at present (thats me not Sam) although I don't envisage this will be for much longer TIA Mandi x Who adds the Liver Life to the red wine! Guest guest
Hi Mandi, It's a coincidence you ask about interactions - the other night I ordered this book on herbal interactions though most herb books usually cover this ground. But I don't think there's anything on LDM in any of my books. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Natural-Health-Magazine-Complete- Guide/dp/0789480735/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1218015030 & sr=8-2 (Can't get the rich-text editor to work so the url will get chopped up - it's a book called Safe Herbs £12 used at amazon) For the LDM-100 I read that it shouldn't be used as the main anti- viral and you should have a strong candida treatment in place BUT we didn't want to overstress Eddie's system either. So we gave what you might call a strong maintenance of all his usual things - but didn't give oreganol (we've started again now) and actually didn't give anything for yeast except caprylic acid (1.5 Solgar I think). So he was having something like 1/4 and 1/8th of a capsule of his other herbs per day. It's funny his yeast seemed very good - I don't think we got a flair if anything I think it is much better than usual because yeast is the big culprit for bloating for Eddie and his belly is still flat (bit of a record here). I'm guessing it's maybe best to go slower (more of a maintenance dose) on other herbs if you can at least until the rash dies down. So about 2 weeks. We are planning our next round of ALA this weekend - it will be interesting to see if the LDM can help us keep on top of yeast and clostridia. Best wishes, Sandy > > > > Actually I have already been using in a herbal combo with no > knowledge of what this herb was, must go find where they are and take > some more! > > > > Mandi x > > > > > > Re: LDM-100 - Our experience > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Thanks BBrowne and Sally for all the great info on LDM! > > > > This is a link to the original thread on A-M. Guest guest
One site I read but didn't post said that the rash was a sign of stress on the liver and suggested taking dandelion at the same time to avoid it Sally Sandy and Tim wrote: > > Hi Mandi, > > It's a coincidence you ask about interactions - the other night I > ordered this book on herbal interactions though most herb books > usually cover this ground. Guest guest
Curiousity got the better of me. http://www.people.vcu.edu/~urdesai/cou.htm One notable quality is that these are potent inhibitors of vit K. Then again if only used for a short time, might not be too tricky to deal with. Also info on coumarins on wiki and elsewhere.
