Guest guest
Rauschfreiheit? Creutz Weymouth, MA, USA EN-GE " absence of noise " in leads Dear colleagues I am looking for the exact German translation for " absence of noise " refering to pulse generator leads as in ICD devices. Several criteria have to be tested for the procedure of replacement (or first implantation) and the " absence of noise " has to be verified for the leads (as well as voltage threshold, pacing impedance...). Could this " absence of noise " be " Abwesenheit von Rauschen " ? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Regards Isabelle

Guest guest
Isabelle, I wouldn't use " Abwesenheit " , but the idea is correct. " Kein Rauschen, rauschfrei, Rauschunterdrückung " is also used for CT and MR imaging so I suppose " Rauschfreiheit, rauschfrei " fits.
