Guest guest
Hi Kathie! I am not Steve but I weigh 354# and if you want/need support I am here for you! I am so proud of you for losing all that weight! I struggle all the time with the " issues " that keep me fat... from self sabatoge to past tapes playing, etc... I am down from nearly 400# but I am not sure just how much because I was filling out a size 7X men's T-shirt (3x now is loose on me and I can wear some 2x shirts). I just started being able to use the scale I bought over a year ago because it tapps out at about 370 and won't work beyond that. I recently lost 16 pounds! If you need ANY kind of moral support, want a buddy or an accountability partner or anything I would love to be here for you!! I use SparkPeople.com for my food plan and etc. The best thing about it is that it is free. I am training to walk a 10K on October 1 and I do some dayhiking and I am doing the 5K walk " race for the cure " in two weeks. I have found that I have to keep moving, even if I am not eating right. I feel as if it is " move or die " so I do these events to keep me motivated. I often have friends pitch in money for the entry fees so I HAVE to go and train and can't get out of it. It really helps. I end up walking in the dark because it has been so hot here and I do not get up early. If you need support this is a great group! And I am here for you too! Guest guest
Congratulations, Lindy. I read about your trip on Table Mtn. Wow. It's amazing what you're able to do. Guest guest
hi there- i just read your post. I drink only water all day- watch my calories and walk a decent amount per week (about 4 to 5 miles)- yet the pounds for me are not going away.. Any suggestions for me? > > im curious on how much sugar you take in a day?.ive lost some weight > just by not drinking regular soft drink and eating desert once a > week.do you do any resistance training?.i know you get tired of > suggestions but sometimes doing little things help. >
Guest guest
I think it works well...when I started increasing my eating I eat a lot more meat but I eat large servings of broccoli and plenty of apples and carrots and green beans, etc....I never really had a lot of sweet cravings but I did crave salty things and I find I don't crave them much at all now.
