Could this be a shortened form of " diametro tele-diastolico " (sorry, no

accents)?

Helen

ES-EN " diam teled "

The quality of my copy is not ideal, but I'm fairly sure that I'm reading

" diam teled " correctly.

Here's the context:

Male, 79 years, admitted for ischaemic stroke. Medical history includes

ischaemic cardiopathy, dilated myocardiopathy, atrial fibrillation.

" Ecocardiografí a: ventrículo izquierdo dilatado (**diam teled** 68 mm),

ligeramente hipertrófico (pared posterior 14 mm), con acinesia anteroapical

y lateral extensa, hipocinesia inferior y contractilidad solamente

conservada a nivel posterior. "

.... So " diam " is obviously " diámetro " , but " teled " ?

All help appreciated.

Jane.

OTTOMH (off the top of my head) and a wild, wild guess, could it be a

Hello Jane

" diametro telediastolico " - " end-diastole diameter " ?
