Guest guest
The pain comes and goes but is mostly in the sacro-iliac region on both sides. The pain shifts from one side to another. It's not too bad today. Some days are much worse than others. And yes, the nerves are being irritated. I've heard about the new artificial discs. I'll see what the spine specialist has to say when I go see him. Medical wonder...yes, there's just too much medical stuff going on at once. Oh, how I hate getting old... Thanks for the info and for caring. Colleen abijann <no_reply > wrote: Are you in extreme pain with your back? Is the prolapsed disk pushing on the nerves in your back? They do have something now where they can replace the disk in the back with some other material instead of fusing the vertebrae together. They also have material that they can inject into the area to hold the vertebrae apart. You are becoming a medical wonder, you know that don't you?
