Scripture says it is the " For the love of Money that is the root of all evil. " 1Ti 6:10. It is not wrong to have enough money to live on. It is when money becomes your goal in life that it corrupts. Mad
Guest guest
Mad, Haven't thought much about religious material in terms of the list, but it plays a vital role for many of us. In reading your citation, I realized that it is nice to have some religious contributions. I'm not talking about a whole book from the Bible, or heavily evangelical stuff, but things that we live by and can help us. When I did treatment with many people over the years, I discovered that when people are pushed past their limits, and beyond what anyone can bear, and desperate for relief but becoming without hope, it was always God who helped. Even with people who became suicidal. And for me it has been so too. Guest guest
Ken: appreciate what you said about belief in God. I work with PWDs at my church and have found it very rewarding although frustrating at times. I know my own belief in God and His purposes has sustained me all these years of chronic pain (since 1971). Lois Grace...
