If it seems potentially useful for you, explore it please. I will attempt to locate & circulate any decent material I find. Guest guest
Hello to all, I too have a tens unit and it has provided some help over the years. The problem that I have with it is, I forget to use it! It was only recently that I remembered that I had the darn thing. Talk about memory loss! I just received more pads from my PT and am using it again. It does provide some relief. I now try it before I decide to take more meds. It does take some playing around with the placement of the pads. I think that once sent us a chart of where to place the electrodes. On another note....I have been unable to keep up with my mail because of a set back with my illness and also a great deal of work related things. I'm afraid I missed a lot of the dialogue of late but I'm back at the keyboard more often now so I hope to keep up with all of you. Welcome to any of you who have recently signed on with us. Guest guest
Kay, LOTS of changes. much mor function, variety & choice. For instance mine has 2 channels, easy & durable pads, can be set to different pulse rates and wave patterns, a very large number of combinations, so I can find settings that are most effective for me at any time. This also prevents losing effectiveness because there are so many patterns, if you vary them a little, the body doesn't get too used to them (tolerance). Hope you can look into it & find it helps. When I am bad, it is the only way I can get any sleep.
