And why? > Tony, for someone purporting to be a paragon of science, you have an uncanny way of leaping to many unfounded conclusions. I receive no money from Mold Warriors and do not have any " financial self supporting bias " you sugggest. Moreover, You appear to be laboring under the misperception that statistics are required to constitute proof. As Barry Marshall demonstrated by inducing his own case of ulcers by drinking an H Pylori cocktail, and then curing them in a controlled clinical test, this one experiment was sufficient to demonstrate the viability of the concept the very first time it was done. If so much as one person can " break the rule " , the rule is irreparably broken. The entire medical community which did not see fit to place any value on Barry Marshall's demonstration were " professionals " . This didn't save from the embarrassment of being completely wrong. I believe it is for the best that you DO NOT place any value on my observations or experience, as this kind of dedicated indifference just makes my story all that much the better. As Dr Shoemaker wrote in the beginning of my chapter: " History doesn't remember the critics " . -MW
