Guest guest
I do understand how people can feel like voting for Obama could be pro-life. After reading everything he stands for, I no longer believe that, but I think that many people are so unhappy and disillusioned with the people we have had in office that they are truly desperate for anyone claiming they could or would change things. If he could reduce the abortion rate because of providing more finacial support to would be mothers, then he would have done better then those who say they are pro-life before him.The conservatives and Republicans have done little to nothing to stop abortion or even reduce the abortion rate. Count me as one who is disgusted with them! I am not really voting for McCain, I am voting for as I think she might actually CHANGE things if given the chance. I am definately voting to vote AGAINST Obama. ;-)I don't think Obama is the anti-christ. He's no worse then they other far left people out there. They are just not afraid to voice it any longer. I was reading last night that the Catholic church had refused communion to one of the cotributors to 25 site...... it is not a Christian group, nor is it backed by any church that holds fast to doctrine.I am not at all sure this election is settled either. I think it may be a lot closer then people think. I think some people who have always voted dem, may not in the privacy of the booth. The only comfort if Obama wins, is that he faces many in office who do oppose some of his more radical views. We are not a dictatorhip and we do have checks and balances so that could never happen. He, like all the rest before him, wil find out soon enough just hard it is to affect change from the oval office. Carol in ILMom to , 8 DS My problem is not how I look. Guest guest
I'm going on the first " load " out of here! :)Shari Tell me we get to " leave " before this... Re: [DownSyndromeInfoExchange] Re:abortion, politics, but please read...it really will affect us all How long is the beast allowed to have authority in Revelations?Revelations Chapter 13 tells us it is 42 months, and you know what that is.Almost a four-year term of a Presidency. All I can say is 'Lord, Have mercy on us!' According to The Book of Revelations the anti-Christ is: The anti-Christ willbe a man, in his 40's, of MUSLIM descent, who will deceive the nations withpersuasive language, and have a MASSIVE Christ-like appeal....the prophecy saysthat people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace, and when he is in power, will destroy everything..Do we recognize this description??I STRONGLY URGE each one of you to post this as many times asyou can! Each opportunity that you have to send it to a friend or media outlet.......do it!I refuse to take a chance on this unknown candidate who came out of nowhere. From: Dr. Tisdale __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Dear Friends,As I was listening to a news program last night, I watched in horror as Barack Obama made the statement with pride. . .'we are no longer a Christian nation; we are now a nation of Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, . . .' As with so many other statements I've heard him (and his wife) make, I never thought I'd see the day that I'd hear something like that from a presidential candidate in this nation. To think our forefathers fought and died for the right for our nation to be a Christian nation--and to have this man say with pride that we are no longer that. With God's help, and He is still in control of this nation and all else, we can show this man and the world in November that we are, indeed, still a Christian nation! Guest guest
That's my belief, too. Our family loved the " Left Behind " series. I read the first one in one sitting. Shirley, I am praying the exact same thing. I think some fasting needs to be done also. Shari There are a lot of views concerning when the 'believers' are taken out of this world. I personally believe the Bible teaches a pre-tribulation rapture. That is, the 'church' (universal church...all who believe in Christ) is raptured in the twinkling of an eye (taken out of the world) before the anti-Christ is revealed. Has anyone read the " Left Behind " series by Tim LaHaye? It is a work of fiction. The writers have taken what they see in the book of Revelations and other passages that deal with prophecy and write a story about how it might happen. I really enjoyed reading all the books in the series. Most libraries have it. I'm praying for God's Will to be done, that the eyes of voters will be opened to the truth, and for strength and wisdom for and and their families. Hope you all have a blessed day.
