Sharon/Group,

How about:

" Exposure to contaminants resulting from water damage in buildings may

cause a variety of symptoms in some people in an average state of health,

and; may affect those who are sensitized and/or in a below average state of

health more significantly. "

Sharon,

I concur with Steve and Carl that the word " contaminant " is preferable with

no specific references to " microbial " , for the reasons that they stated.

That's the big shoebox part of it, methinks. :)

Chuck

Sharon,

As long as we are having an uncommon agreement for this group, I'd like to pile-on with my support for Chuck's suggestion for the rest of the statement: " may cause a variety of symptoms in some people in an average state of health, and; may affect those who are sensitized and/or in a below average state of health more significantly. What about " contaminants resulting from

water damage in buildings "

will cause people to BECOME sensitized

and in a perpetual limbo of " below average

state of health " .

" Below average state of health " is also very dishonest because

the phrasing intentionally trivalizes an illness that has a very

substantial impact

on almost every aspects of life.. the phrasing should accurately depict the

impact on people being hypersensitized to mold..

Thats a big enough impact that any sane person knowing the risks,

and the impact getting sick would have, would

not want to take them. People make decisions based on the degree

of danger -

If they understate the danger, people will make the wrong decisions.

Maybe that is what they want, but if so, that is really criminal.
