Guest guest
I know, its been awhile since I have posted. I have been paying attention to the postings here. I just want to say, my thoughts are with this group everyday. My wife has finished up her last wrapping of her infection, that resulted from a cat scratch. After surgery, we hadto have it wrapped everyday.. but now, it seems to be doing its job. The Cellulits was horrbile, along with the edema.. She has still been very tired. Out of pain meds since yesterday... and will be out until the doc gives her more...but he prob. wont for awhile.. she has decided not to get into the liver trasplant program...so why cant they keep her pain done.. Now, about ten years ago. she had biatric surgery, and since then.. have been having nothing but stomach problems... She has cirrohis of the liver, but they never did a biopsy. They wont do explorig surgery, as they state, that they dont want to put her through that. This morning, I found out, well, i do work in the hospital, that an acquaitance of my wife passed away with liver disease. He was 45. His sister runs the payroll department. I tried to give as much support to her, as she is also a friend of my wife. We hav another woman, who is the controller of the hospital, who had an suscessful liver surgery about two years ago. These people, co workers that family has gone through this, and I want you to know, this group have be there for me... during my moments of being afraid, not knowing whats going on with the diease. i want you to know, that I thank you, and love you, for being you, for the support, that you give me and people families ....
