Guest guest
Welcome new member Tami. Let me introduce myself, I am Bobby Aragon, a 44 year old with end stage liver disease from alcoholism. This group is a fast growing support group made up of people with cirrhosis, and cartakers of those suffering from it, caretakers whom have lost a loved one to it, and those who are both or all three. I am one of three moderators here. We are very informal, the only rules are no soliciting, and no flaming. Though there are many here who are faithful, and let it be known in their posts, the liver cirrhosis support group is not allied with any sect, denomination, or politics, organization or institution and does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither opposes nor endorses any cause. The primary goal is to support each other in the fight with liver disease. We do not discourage people from letting be known their faith, but want to make sure new members are aware that people here deal with this disease in any way they can. There is a uploaded files section including a college minicourse on liver disease from north Carolina state, and a members database, so you can look and see who has what, and tell us apart, and there is a links section, and a photo album. The more photos that are uploaded, the more we feel like a big family, and not just black and white letters and numbers on a computer screen. You have joined the best support group on the web, and our membership is above 400 people and our daily postings are at record highs. Good luck, ask questions, and welcome. Love, Bobby, aka rwe. PS, I found out about my cirrhosis when I woke in recovery after having my gallbladder out. What a shock! long life, old age, everything good-Apache prayer
