Guest guest
My son is 4 this fall. We might start public school next year before he starts kindergarten the following year. I'd like to take this year to figure out what all I need to do and prepare for the ARD so that they don't try to run us over and get away with doing what they want instead of what's best for him. Where do I begin?
Guest guest
www.wrightslaw.com and www.fetaweb.com are both good starting places learning your son’s rights and how to advocate for them. Also, if there is a support group near you, it’s a good place to learn from more experienced parents. Both www.autism-society.org and www.feat.org have chapters in Texas.
