Guest guest
Is it difficult to find a BCBA in North Texas? It seems like we have a lot of them here. I thought there were a lot in Houston too. I guess it depends how many of them are in private practice, maybe. Thanks for posting this though, that's exciting! Guest guest
> > The real challenge is finding a BCBA.... > Very true and how many when found would like to contract with the Medicaid Waiver Program undergo the paperwork needed and negotiate the pay fee issues. Guest guest
could you share the name of these companies please? [Texas-Autism- Advocacy] Re: CLASS is paying for ABA services You can search for BCBA's/BCaBA' s in by zip code, city, state, name at the Behavior Analyst Certification Board website (www.bacb.com). Go to consumer information and then click on the Certificant Registry tab on the left. HSC is also reimbursing for BCBA's. Guest guest
Touch of Class and DSSW. From: Mouser <ginaamsbcglobal (DOT) net>Subject: Re: [Texas-Autism- Advocacy] Re: CLASS is paying for ABA servicesTo: Texas-Autism- Advocacy@ yahoogroups. comDate: Friday, December 19, 2008, 1:05 PM Unfortunately, one of the problems is that most of the private clinics (and maybe the public ones) have clauses in their contract to prevent their BCBAs to work privately with other clients. I really think that due to the shortage of qualified and experienced BCBAs, these organization should re-consider their positions.
