Dehydration isn't something to fool with....if he has this, it is very

important for him to get care soon.

I question the use of over the counter products used to treat this:

like gatorade or pedialyte, because most liver patients are

on a low sodium diet and these products add to the sodium levels.

It is best, that If he gets treatment, that he be hooked up to IV

solution. They do this for cancer patients on an outpatient basis

at times. It takes a while for this to be done.
