What software tools can be used by IAQ pros?

Hello,

I am trying to put together a list of software that might be useful in

IAQ situations.

This would include flow analysis, vapor barrier and building envelope

anaysis + simulation, GIS and mapping tools, 3D modeling, - anything!

I am particularly interested in CFD or simulation tools that might be

used in an IAQ application, especially open source tools.

(on any platform, ie Mac, Windows, Linux, etc.)

But I'd also like to hear of commercial tools that people use. And how.

Be creative. I am thinking of any visualization aids or toolkits,

presentation aids, mind-mapping, outliners, timelines, legal case

management tools, medical simulation, anti-bioterrorism tools, etc.

Also, web applications.. Do you find yourself using any web tools or

hosted applications a lot?

Also, if you had any ideas to put on a wish list of things that don't

exist yet.. things you know could be made, but which don't exist yet.

Eventual purpose is maybe some kind of online resource..brainstorming area..

BTW, several mechanisms exist now to get grants to write things, and

even people to help.. IF there is clearly a NEED.
