Use of Agency services beyond those provided by schools

Hi all,

I am conducting an informal survey for a presentation I was asked to give, and I

wanted to

get some parent feedback on services available to children with autism in Texas.

I was wondering if anyone on this list receives (educational) services from any

of the

agencies listed below. If so, which agency and what service. If you don't mind

sending the

age of your child, when s/he began receiving those services, and what process

you had to

go through/wait on to get the services, that'd be great.

Agencies:

HCS (Home & Community Services)

TxHmL (Texas Home Living)

DBMD (Deaf-Blind with Multiple Disabilities)

CBA (Community Based Alternatives)

CLASS (Community Living Assistance and Support Services)

CWP (Consolidated Waiver Program)

MDCP (Medically Dependent Children's Program)
