Guest guest
Hello I would look at the cryshame website and start googling, also have a look at the JABS site, these are both UK sites. Try the US sites too, TACA, ARI, and Shattocks UK site Autism Research Unit, there is a number on there you can call him on. It takes 3 days for milk to come out the system, 6 -9 months for gluten as well, try to eliminate soya as well as it has simular protiens to milk. Guest guest
Thank you Lara....funny enough phoned Sunderland this morning they have sent results to Breakspear (peptides) so will wait for appointment in Sept for results, but great will check out the american sites! I have contacted Jackie once and she has given great advice and support also. I have other Question but will start a new thread as different issue again....it is swimming around in my head....all these new results etc...determined to find out what happened to establish main cause. I can't believe all the papers on milk and autism....my son's Paed dismissed it and said their was little evidence when my son was diagnosed at 2.7months! Furious as could have started milk free sooner if I wasn't told it is genetic genetic genetic! A lot of genetics but hardly any autism in my childhood days! > > > > Ok my 4 year old boy is now on diary and gluten free diet less than one > > week (like a wild cat laughing and circling all the time last 24hrs) > > and the results show mainly milk is causing most neurologic damage. Guest guest
One last question ... If my son id withdrawing from casein and gluten.....how come he is laughing his head off 24/7....he is being cheeky and irritable also....but expected low, withdrawn, aggressive...not high as a kite? It is as if the milk etc was stored somewhere and is now being used as reserve fuel and is causing this 'high'. He used to get high an hour after wheat and dairy and then crash for the next hour.....but he is having 4-5 hrs of 'high' (so funny) only 1 week into it! Last night he said 'I want mummy to hold your hand'! He never said this before ....and he has been grabing me for kisses....again he has never done this before! He only ever kissed when I asked! This is amazing and near tear moments! > > > > > > Ok my 4 year old boy is now on diary and gluten free diet less > than one > > > week (like a wild cat laughing and circling all the time last > 24hrs) > > > and the results show mainly milk is causing most neurologic > damage. Guest guest
Excellent news on the positive changes! Laughing, cheeky and irritable would likely be yeast overgrowth or perhaps another intolerance showing now that you’ve pulled the gluten and casein. What new foods have you introduced? in US http://free-mealer.blogspot.com/ -----Original Message----- From: Autism-Biomedical-Europe [mailto:Autism-Biomedical-Europe ]On Behalf Of ru345mins Sent: Tuesday, August 19, 2008 7:12 PM To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe Subject: Re: Autism and milk! Guest guest
Hi Anne, You are spot on!!! He has yeast in his poo! I am waiting to see Dr Magdelana in Sept....its a long wait (I'm impatient ALL the time) so shall I start a yeast free diet as well....or does he need antifungal meds first? If I start now do I stop sugar as well??? Its funny Anne was worrying about starting cfgf for months....then when the Neuro panel explained it was dairy I started cfgf that minute...went straight to health food shops..I did even wait till next day! I did sob violently to think I asked before my son even had MMR he had horrendous stools....all done in if I knew what I knew now....I am seriously kicking myself, but sadly I listened to long to NHS professionals! At the moment he is eating cgfg Sainsbury's fish fingers (worried a little as cod - mercury) and micro chips! He only ate wheat and dairy foods before this mainly baby jar Veg Lasg stage 4 by Hipp Organic....so this is a huge leap! He is on intense eating programme so going well (lucky I started these fishfingers 3 weeks ago before I even knew about his results). > > Excellent news on the positive changes! > > Laughing, cheeky and irritable would likely be yeast overgrowth or perhaps > another intolerance showing now that you've pulled the gluten and casein. > > What new foods have you introduced? > > in US > http://free-mealer.blogspot.com/ > > > > Re: Autism and milk! > > One last question ... > > If my son id withdrawing from casein and gluten.....how come he is > laughing his head off 24/7....he is being cheeky and irritable > also....but expected low, withdrawn, aggressive...not high as a kite? > It is as if the milk etc was stored somewhere and is now being used > as reserve fuel and is causing this 'high'.
