Guest guest
Wanted to share our good news about our continued chelation journey. After last week's round 18, my boy came up to me whilst the radio was playing Mendelsohn, and he said " its soooo beautiful " . I was stunned. My five year old boy (who i hoped would be a concert pianist when he was born) appreciates music!! He has never made a comment like this when my husband plays his horrible country music. I celebrated him for what he said and he started swaying to the music. point being is i never knew he knew the word " beautiful " much less that he would associate its meaning " correctly " . I really felt guilty after this for not giving him the credit he deserved and started questioning why i got so excited. Of course he knows these things, our kids are so incredibly bright, brighter than us!!!! the words are rolling off his tongue and connections are being made day and daily. I cant honestly say its all chelation, but somewhere, somehow, something has been triggered and I thank God every day for it. wanted to share and to give hope to everyone, but also to say, that its so easy to fall prey to underestimating our children because of others' beliefs. I should have known full well my son had an appreciation of music. I do, and as they say, the fruit does not fall far from the tree. I suppose if i had pushed music on him, he might have resisted. This is so much better that, in his own time, he decided to make a choice to like what he heard. Fabulous.
