Kim,

That's great, it just goes to show that our kids are alot smarter then some

give them credit for. Keep up the good work

and Kennedy (6months 18lbs and growing strong)

So this morning he pulls it out, drops it on the floor and walks off

(AGAIN). I'd had enough. I told him to come over and clean it up right

now. He walked over and picked them up put them immediately in the right

spots and walked off to whatever else he wanted to play with. That stinker!

He always knew where they went, he just didn't want to do it. It gave me

such joy that I had to let you all know. Thanks for being there for me to

tell. YEAH!

Hello All,

I haven't written much but I wanted to share what Teddy did this morning. We

have the basic puzzle that I keep practicing with him. It has large knobs so he

can grab it easily and 5 shapes. You put the blue circle in the cut out with a

blue circle, the orange rectangle in the appropriate spot, yellow triangle, etc.

The used something like that for his developmental testing and he failed it.

The therapists sometimes use it and say that when they put the pieces directly

under the picture he sometimes puts them in but if they mix them up he doesn't.

I've often wondered if he was just exploring it, like when he was trying to put

the triangle piece in the circle. But when he does that they mark him off on

the testing. So this morning he pulls it out, drops it on the floor and walks

off (AGAIN). I'd had enough. I told him to come over and clean it up right

now. He walked over and picked them up put them immediately in the right spots

and walked off to whatever else he wanted to play with. That stinker! He

always knew where they went, he just didn't want to do it. It gave me such joy

that I had to let you all know. Thanks for being there for me to tell. YEAH!

Kim and Chris

That is GREAT!

I know you are already proud of your children, but so are we, Crystal and

Teddy

are doing pretty amazing stuff!

It is great to hear all the things they can do too!

Kate - thanks so much for the encouragement. It really helps knowing that

there are so many people who care....My Crystal really is something. Today, I

asked her to go & get her shoes from her sister's room & bring them to me.

She went right in there & brought them back. I only had to tell her once.

Now, if I could ONLY get my older kids to listen - lolol !!!

Lotsa luv coming your way from me & mine to you & yours...

Your friends in Snowy South Jersey,

& Crystal Aquielle - 22 mos. old - BPP & adorable....

Kate - I live in Egg Harbor Twp., South Jersey about 1/2 hour out of Atlantic

City. It's much too close, if you ask me < grin > !!! I LOVE those nickel

slot machines !!! Anyways, how's things ?? I appreciate everyone being so

supportive of me,also. I do feel guilty sometimes, since so many of the fine

people on the list have children much more involved then Crystal. HOWEVER, I

have 2 other children with issues. Not the same as Crystal, but in ways,

worse....My 2 boys Carl 13, & Paddy 12 have behavioral problems. They're both

in after school programs to try to help them cope with things. Mostly, they

rub each other the wrong way & are constantly fighting & hurting each other.

It's a pretty ugly scene around here at times, & I worry about Crystal & her

sister getting caught up in the melee !!!! Carl has been diagnosed with

ADHD & a non-specific tic disorder that leads to rage attacks, & Paddy has

been diagnosed with ADHD & ODD ( Oppositional Defiant Disorder ) .Trust me

when I tell you, it's a dreadful combination.

Anyways, there are days when I'm really down, from trying to achieve some

sort of balance in my life.( & failing miserably ) These groups have become

my salvation.

I hope that things are ok on your end. Give the boys great big hugs & kisses

from me & mine.....

Your pals in Snowy South Jersey,

& Crystal Aquielle
