Hi all welcome to this site and welcome new members (16 today!)

Please know that most of you do not have HYPERACUSIS.

You have a different condition which I names Selective Sound

Sensitivty

Syndrome or 4S.

I have created this site for people with 4S to gather and share,

advise and support.

There are interesting files in the FILES section that may be helpful.

I offer a therapy for the condition that is in a trial phase and

considered experimental. You can and should have an audiological

evaluation to rule out any unusual health issues of the auditory

system that could be improved or 'fixed'.

Please use the archives to search the old messages when you have a

particular topic that may not seem to pop up here. There is a wealth

of info in those messages.....
