First, I want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving.

Friday, my husband, my dog, and I had a photo shoot for a calendar

that is being made by a non profit organization in the Chicago area

called Pets N Patients at http://www.petsnpatients.com We will be

featured on the September, 2009 page. The story I wrote of how

important my pets were to me while I was ill, and will be when I

start my treatment for the Hep C treatment on Tuesday are also

featured. I was emailed the page today as a .pdf file, and I copied

it and made it a .jpg file, so I posted it to my photo album. My

story is unreadable on the picture of the calendar page, but the

calendar will be for sale when it is completed to raise money for the

organization Pets N Patients. I can write the story on this site if

you would like to read it. Pets N Patients help people who are very

ill keep their animals when they are unable to do so because of

illness by providing respite care for the animals. This all came

about with me because I volunteered to help the organization, and

told the owner that I understood because of my being sick before my

transplant. She then wanted me to be a part of the calendar to raise

money. There are two Shih Tzu's who need respite care after the

holidays and I volunteered to take them in, but we have to see how my

treatment makes me feel first before I can decide if I can do it or

not.

I hope everyone is doing as well as can be. I will be including this

group tomorrow on Thanksgiving as what I am thankful for.

Penny
