Hi,

I got this in my email today, and it is a cause very near and dear to

my heart since my dog, , was rescued from a puppy mill where

she was kept in a cage to be bred over and over for her puppies. She

was afraid of everything when we first got her, even the grass on the

ground. They didn't take care of her eye either. She has a

condition called Pigmentary Keratitis which is a build up of scar

tissue on the surface of the eye, and she can't see out of that eye.

She had this when she was rescued from the puppy mill. By the way,

they use Cyclosporine or Tacrolimus eyedrops to try to remove it.

Coincidentally, Tacrolimus is the anti rejection drug I take to

prevent my body from rejecting my new liver.

Anyway, this is to speak out against puppy mills because they should

all be abolished. The Humane Society did an investigation and found

that Petland sells puppies that come from puppy mills.
