Fwding. as is.- Way to go everybody who has voted.

RE:

The request that Fully funded Medicaid Waivers and PORTABILITY has

made it to 3rd place with over 1,000 votes today. To make it to the

next level of consideration, we need more. Any of you who haven't

voted, belong to organizations in your state like P2P, Partners in

Policy making, Parent Mentors, or ds-asd groups - what ever - even

your prayer circles - encourage votes on this issue.

In 2 weeks we have accomplished what some other advocacy groups

started on Election day.

WE HAVE UNTIL MIDNIGHT 12/31

RE:

We wanted to let you know that the first round of voting for the Ideas

for Change in America competition will end this Wednesday, December 31

at midnight Pacific Time.

You have voted for the following ideas:

* Accept and Sign " The Autism Reform Act of 2009 " (currently in

1st place in the Education category)

* Quality, affordable health care for all (currently in 3rd place

in the Health Care category)

* Fully Fund Medicaid Waivers for the Developmentally Disabled

(currently in 4th place in the Health Care category)

[update to 3rd place today]

* Doctors For Change (currently in 76th place in the Health Care

category)

You can also see all the ideas you have voted for by clicking the

following link:

http://www.change.org/ideas/your_ideas

The top three ideas in each category will make it to the final round.

The best way to increase the odds that the ideas you have voted for

will qualify is to forward this email to friends and encourage them to

add their votes. You may also want to post a link to one or more of

these ideas on Facebook or any blog you may write.

If you have any questions, please let us know. Also note that the

final round of voting will begin next Monday and end just before the

Presidential Inauguration in mid-January.

Best of luck!
