Hi, me again asking for some more advice :-)

I have been reading the " Behavioral intervention " by Maurice

and it's quite a heavy reading.

From what I have gathered, it looks like we'll be doing the ABA our

selves as we just can't afford to otherwise.

Do any of you have any DVD's or websites to help me understand ABA a

bit more and to help me start implementing it. I am on the waiting list

with PEAT but that might take some time and I really want to get my

teeth into it.

I came across this site, that offers ABA courses in

Ireland..http://www.developing-ability.com/index.html, anyone has heard

of it before?

How on earth does one become an ABA therapist?!!!

Thank you in advance

In Christ

Hi, there is a separate yahoo forum on ABA called ABA-UK. They may be

able to help.

I think when you find the ansewr to your questions, you might find

some other answers too. ABA in N.I. is almost impossible either

because of cost or access.

---www.establishingoperationsinc.com sell 3 teaching dvds which are v v

good(different

roads to learning also sell these ).Also some at ABAtoolchest.com,

Autismteachingtools.com

Other good more up to date books on the verbal behaviour approach to ABA are

Educating

towards recovery by Schramm, and teaching language to children with

developmental disabilities and autism by Sundberg and Partington,

If you can attend a workshop by some of these analysts when they come to the

UK,think
