Doesn't seem so, Dr. Byrnes. Here's a quote from their

web site:

" Our flocks are given ample space to roam freely, with

a constant supply of fresh water and feed composed

only of corn, soy, vitamins & minerals. "

Also read this: " Our animals are raised on small farms

in large, open sided houses to allow fresh air and

sunlight in. " This tells me the animals are not

pastured. Sounds like a building with fences as walls,

which probably means that pigs don't get direct

sunlight, and therefore, their fat doesn't contain

much vitamin D.

I'm not sure if this applies to their Canadian pork source, but its a reason

to contact them and ask for some clarification. You've given me a new

project to get on.
