Guest guest
Doesn't seem so, Dr. Byrnes. Here's a quote from their web site: " Our flocks are given ample space to roam freely, with a constant supply of fresh water and feed composed only of corn, soy, vitamins & minerals. " Also read this: " Our animals are raised on small farms in large, open sided houses to allow fresh air and sunlight in. " This tells me the animals are not pastured. Sounds like a building with fences as walls, which probably means that pigs don't get direct sunlight, and therefore, their fat doesn't contain much vitamin D. Guest guest
I'm not sure if this applies to their Canadian pork source, but its a reason to contact them and ask for some clarification. You've given me a new project to get on.
