What about this statement made by Sally Fallon in post 1511:

" On the pigs, even those in confinement get ultra-violet

light--otherwise they die--so even the worst quality lard contains

vitamin D. Sally "

Seems to me that open sided houses letting fresh air and sunlight

in will still allow uv to get to the pigs, no?
