Ahhh, thanks. If you still have your house in Tampa, I'd rather

visit you...warmer weather than here in Wisconsin...lol. Of course,

you can come here too if you want to. It would be nice to meet you

too.

Yea, everyone keeps telling me I'm being ugly to her because I keep trying to

get her to understand that Terry is dying, that he won't get better, only

worse.  But, I keep telling them that I will not sit by and watch him die and

have her thinking everything is hunky-dory right up until the moment he passes.

What's harder, to accept his death a little  a at a time, or have it come as a

big shock?  I am not one for keeping secrets.  I think it is always best to be

open and honest.

I will be praying for your cousin and her husband.

Hugs............

Diane

I'm really sorry that your MIL is haed in the sand about Terry. I often wonder ,

do people who do this just think we live in these b odies forever? I never

really knew just how short life is untill Ardis told me she was dying. Now, I

totally believed her, and even making the most out of all of our time together,

it still flew by. Your MIL is living a hard life, because denial is a road to

difficult days. My cousins' husband is in ICU at a Denver hospital tonight,

having ignored a pain in his leg for months, and a bad tooth for over a year. He

was in denial. He buried his head in the sand, and refused to face what he had

to face. Now he is intubated, stapled from chin to below his belly button. He

had developed severe infection mainly in his pericardium, but other places in

his body, and pieces of his infected heart broke off, and lodged in his leg,

they had to go in there too. He had to have heart valve replacements-He has a

very very poor prognisis,

less than 30 percent. Denial is a bitch.
