Guest guest
I woke up this morning, and freaked out a little bit. I've never thought of this before, and nobody has ever said anything about this that I can remember. Today I do my first labs since starting treatment, and I've been taking my pills EXACTLY 12 hours apart at 6:30 a.m. and p.m. I don't do my labs until 8:30 a.m., and I'm not supposed to eat before labs. You're supposed to eat when you take the pills for treatment, so I'm in this dilemma. Obviously, I will be about 2-1/2 hours late on taking the pills after I do labs. This really, really bothers me since I've been so good at taking them every 12 hours, and I want to do it exactly like I'm supposed to so I can kick this stupid virus. Like I said, this question never came up before from my post transplant coordinator or the class I attended for the treatment. My anti rejection drugs get messed up every time I do labs because I can't take them until after I do labs, but I was told about that ahead of time that it is ok. Nobody said anything about this. I never thought to ask about this before either until just now when I usually eat breakfast and take the pills. Grrr... Penny
